Mary Hyatt and the Dogs

Mary Hyatt LOVES Ellie and Emma.  I don't really think the feeling is mutual, but they tolerate her. Anywhere they go, she goes.  Ellie (maltese) will usually keep getting up and moving every time MH gets near her but that doesn't discourage MH. She just keeps going after her.

Now that Mary Hyatt is mobile she pulls up on EVERYTHING.  One of her favorite things to do is to go pull up on Emma's crate in the mornings and look at Emma through the crate.

And occasionally Emma will lick face through the gate.  This was this past weekend and as soon as Emma licked her, she looked back at me with this face... haha

Another thing that MH loves to do is go after the dogs food.  We have to be very careful if we ever leave dog food in their bowls because MH thinks it's a snack for her.

We also have to watch her very closely when the dogs are eating.  She likes to get right up by their face, and though these dogs are sweet, they do NOT like feeling threatened when eating. Both Ellie and Emma will sometimes growl if MH gets close, but of course MH doesn't pick up on those cues haha. We don't usually let Mary Hyatt around the dogs when they are eating, usually because they eat after she is asleep, but this night was so funny because she kept crawling back and forth between both dogs and just sat there watching them eat. (Ellie always takes her food, one piece at a time, out of the bowl and under the kitchen table/chair and eats it.)

Then one night last weekend Ben and I decided to try to get another picture of MH with her "sisters."  It was a disaster haha. I'll just let the pictures do the talking. (Unfortunately the quality of the pictures is horrible.  I'm not sure what was going on with my camera.)

Oh how I love them all!...yes, even Emma!
