Two years ago from yesterday (February 1), I was doing this..
We had all been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Abigail Leigh Newsom, and she had finally made her debut into this world on February 1, 2008! I was so proud and so excited to have another neice!!
One year ago, we were doing this...
Yes, Abby turned 2!! I can't believe how fast time is flying. She is getting to be such a big girl! My brother and Tiffany held her birthday party at my parents house with a "Tea Party" theme. There were lots of pearl necklaces, silky gloves, and feather hair things for all of the guests to wear. Here is a picture of all of the girls... I wish I could have gotten one of the guys, but they wouldn't cooperate. haha Here are a lot of pictures to recap the day:
And this past Sunday, we were doing this:
Before the party, we had a little photo shoot of the birthday girl. She was so excited! She kept walking around saying "Happy Birthday!" haha It was so cute. My mom had hung streamers in our kitchen, and Tiffany's mom brought over a bunch of balloons. Abby was absolutely amazed by them. She kept pointing at them, grabbing them, and laughing.
Isn't she the most precious little girl you have ever seen?
Here is Abby opening up her present from me and Ben...Mr. Potato Head. I don't think she really knew what it was, haha but her face was so cute!
One of her favorite gifts was this little stuffed Maltese dog on a leash from my sister. She kept pulling it around, and never wanted to put it down. She kept saying, "No puppy." haha It was precious! I'm sure it reminded her of her two cousdogs... Ellie (my dog) and Sammy (my sister's dog!) haha.
Abby also LOVED "reading" all of the cards on the gifts. haha If I didn't know better, I would've thought she really knew what they were saying!I think this picture of Abby and Mama Frankie is so cute.
And, of course, Abby LOVES her Uncle Ben!!
Overall, it was such a fun day for all of us. Abby is really at such a cute age, and I know she will become even more fun as the days go by! We are so lucky to live so close that we are able to see her all the time!
Happy Birthday Abby!!
