Good Times with Good Friends

Last Thursday, two of our great friends Whitney and Brian, came to Birmingham for the day. They are both school teachers and it was their spring break, so they had originally planned to spend the day shopping. We, of course couldn't let them come to Birmingham without hanging out with us, and it just so happened that they had planned to go shopping on the perfect day, "Thirsty Thursday."

After I got home from UAB and Ben got home from work, they met us at our apartment. We all went to grab dinner at Mama Goldbergs and then headed to the Barons Baseball game for Thirsty Thursday. For any of you that don't know, Thirsty Thursday is a night where they offer $1 beer and $2 strawberry daiquiris at the Birmingham Barons baseball game. It's a lot of fun. Ben and I had only been once before, and were dying to go again. With our two friends here, we knew it was the perfect chance. We had a great time hanging out with them! Although the game was a little boring, and the Barons aren't that great of a team this year, it was still worth it! Being outside in such perfect weather, with great friends, and socially enjoying a couple of cheap drinks is our kind of night! We hope to go again soon!!
